Hey y’all!
My name is Sara
If you find travel planning daunting, I understand. I’m your resident anxious millennial, and let’s just say I’ve perfected the art of overthinking. Through my own journey of travels and tribulations, I’ve learned to channel my overthinking into a powerful travel planning resource. If you’re someone who loves to explore new places, eat amazing food, and have extraordinary experiences, you’ve come to the right place!
I’m originally from a small town outside of Memphis, TN. I met my husband, David, when I was in college right outside of Nashville in 2009. We got married in 2013 and a few months later moved to Scottsdale, AZ and have been living here ever since! My husband and I are childless by choice. We have the sweetest old man border collie, Beasley. He was diagnosed with Canine Cognitive Disorder (dog dementia) in May of 2023. Don’t worry, I didn’t know that was a thing either until it happened to him.
We love any kind of travel. It started out as making our bucket list to visit all 30 MLB baseball stadiums. Then we decided we wanted to visit all of the National Parks. Next, we started traveling internationally in 2022 and got hooked on that. There’s just so many places to go and seemingly so little time!

I’ll be your virtual travel guide sharing my adventures (sometimes misadventures) and must-see destinations.
Travel planning is my happy place. Staying up late scouring Pinterest boards, YouTube travel vlogs, virtually strolling down streets via Google Maps – I research it all. I want to curate the perfect vacation and take advantage of everything each location has to offer. I’m an overthinker by nature and overthink every decision to death while my husband is so go-with-the-flow, he refuses to make any decision at all. Consequently, we’re terrible at the spontaneous thing, so without a prepared list of items to choose from, we’d end up sitting in the hotel or driving around aimlessly for hours (most likely ending in an argument). Through this, I found my passion in planning.
While some might call me a control freak, I prefer to think of myself as an “overthinking traveler”. Putting in all the work ahead of time means you have nothing to think about on vacation and everything is already set up for you. What’s better than that? We’re not scheduling out bathroom breaks here, but a happy medium of having a solid plan in place, but also the freedom to be flexible and explore, too.
I’ll also be sharing tips on how to be a carry-on girlie (it’s possible, I promise) to ensure stress-free travel and avoid those baggage fees. Along with how to strategically use credit cards to rack up points and travel rewards, turning those dream vacations into reality (without going into debt and hurting your credit score).
Looking to plan your next trip? I’m here to help make your dreams into reality! Let’s make your next adventure unforgettable. Don’t worry – I’ll do all the heavy lifting!
